2014 Annual SAM/WCBA Charity Golf Tounament

As you may know, Pembina Insurance is an active member of the Winnipeg Central Business Association (WCBA).  The WCBA is partnering with the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba (aka SAM) in the Annual Charity Golf Classic to be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Southside Golf and Country Club.  Through donations from friends, members and businesses, this has become a very successful event attracting more and more support every year.

The Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba is a volunteer driven non-profit organization that is run by stroke survivors, a volunteer board and a small staff.  They are a support organization that strives to improve the quality of life for stroke survivors and their families through mental stimulation, self-help and socialization.  The Stroke Recovery Association also serves to function as a non-profit organization for the benefit of stroke survivors and their families throughout the province of Manitoba, and to educate the public in matters relating to stroke.

All members, friends and businesses in Winnipeg are invited to support and attend the tournament.  There are over a dozen levels of Corporate Sponsorship in which your organization will be recognized (in print at the event and the dinner) as one that not only contributes to the community, but one that values how important it is to bring awareness to issues surrounding a stroke, for both victims and family.

The tournament includes 18 holes with a shotgun start, with prizes for everyone and a wonderful dinner provided at the Southside Golf and Country Club.  The club is located only minutes south and east of the Perimeter Highway and Highway 59.
